The Story

Consistently throughout History, God has worked in amazing and wonderful ways to Author Stories that show His Goodness, Grace, Power and Love in unique ways that only He could design – and Our Story is no different.

All throughout The Bible He has used imperfect and broken people, but when they were bonded and centered around Him…they could do amazing things thanks to/ for His Glory. For Us it was through Fitness and Faith.

Some years ago, God orchestrated a random meeting of 6 different types of athletes (a few bodybuilders, one division 1 track & field champion, one pro wrestler and one MMA fighter) at a local church’s young adult ministry. God then lead Dave, Mike, Landon, Justin, Mike and Anthony to making their own weekly workout small group when they couldn’t find one that existed. This led to them meeting for 5 years, transforming their lives and most importantly calling each one of them to give their lives to Christ and be Baptized.

Around the same time, God also called a successful veteran and gym owner named Christian (who had just decided to give his life to Christ and be baptized), who honored Him by putting his witness to others and God before anything. He did this by opening his gym to ANYONE for a free a weekly workout and Bible Study, calling it Bibles & Biceps (which has expand to multiple locations and continues to do so to this day).

In these events something special was revealed, God did NOT just create us in His image for the transformation of our physical bodies. He created us in His image for the transformation of our hearts and minds, through Faith in Christ, and a never-ending live in relationship with Him. And in His endless love, He can use people who may not have naturally felt qualified to Share the Gospel –or- seemingly rudimentary earthly activities (like fitness) in miraculous to facilitate the Sharing.

We believe God can do uniquely special things when Ministry & Muscle combine. The helping each other, bonding through struggle, refining of discipline, seeking of knowledge & understanding and the never-ending journey that we find in fitness…mirror so many elements of our walk with Jesus Christ. In both endeavors, as we progress, we naturally feel the desire to share and have others to experience the same joy we do. The Truth is God has given each of us unique talents and platforms to be witnesses for Him. We know it doesn’t always feel easy – so whether it's a conversation prompted by fitness clothing, sharable social posts or faith fitness ministry materials/ benevolence - WE WANT TO HELP YOU TO SHARE THE GOSPEL.

Our stories rarely start pretty, and perfection for us isn’t possible (much like Fitness) – but it’s about heart and making a decision.
